A major dramatic scene was cut in post production. Sarah feels that Nancy has completely lost her mind and suggests to the others that they cast a binding spell on her (the same one Sarah eventually uses). Nancy finds out about this and verbally attacks all of them, scaring Sarah off. This would also confirm that Rochelle is the only black girl in the school, and is shunned by them for that reason. Andrew Fleming loved the scene but felt it diluted the power of the one later in the bathroom, where the girls properly turn on Sarah. He also felt it seemed unrealistic that Bonnie and Rochelle would stay friends with Nancy after being attacked like that.
