Lucy gets alot of flack for bullying and mistreating her co-stars. But Desi Arnaz could also very tough. (Maybe that's where she got it from). On a recent episode of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert Rob Reiner said he had been hired to play a hippy for a Desilu Sitcom called The Mother's in Law. During rehearsals he started improvising; at which Desi got up and started screaming at him that they paid 10000 dollars for the script, and how dare he not read the lines. Reiner said Desi swore at him at pinned him up against the wall during the tirade, at which point Rob quit. So clearly Lucy was not the only mean producer on the Desilu lot!
