The last scene of the last episode has Kenneth holding a snow globe of Rockefeller center, is a nod to the final scene of St. Elsewhere. The autistic son of "Dr. Westphall" was holding a snow globe with the St. Elsewhere building inside. His father and grandfather were wondering what his son thinks about. Leading to the idea that the whole series was just the thoughts of an autistic child.
