Taika Waititi directed Thor: Ragnarök (2017) and the television show What We Do in the Shadows (2019) (based on his movie of the same name) which starred Kayvan Novak, who appeared in this movie. Another director of What We Do in the Shadows (2019), Jemaine Clement, played Boris the Animal in Men in Black 3 (2012).
