Stunt co-ordinator Grant Page, who had worked on the original 'Patrick' (1978) as a stunt-man, played a bearded man at the pub in this remake. This was because director Mark Hartley wanted to make him up like his villain character from 'Road Games' (1981) which was directed by original 'Patrick' (1978) director Richard Franklin.
