There was a sequence with Ralph (Barry Miller) and Doris (Maureen Teefy) busking in the heart of Times Square (busking is when either actors or musicians perform street theater, sing, or play their musical instruments on public sidewalks or town squares hoping to get some money for their talents) but it was cut out of the film, due to an almost 2 hour and 30 minute running time, putting the studio on edge that the film was already too long in it's early editing stage.
