This film was ironically greenlit for a theatrical release even though most of this movie's production quality is made for video standards. This film was allowed to release in theaters since the budget went to a more popular voice cast and featuring Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" song in the soundtrack. It however performed poorly at the box office discouraging GoodTimes to make more theatrical animated films.
