Some references to LeBron James's career are thrown in; one shown in the first trailer has Lola Bunny lobbing the ball to James to make a slam dunk in an exaggerated version of the iconic move of Dwyane Wade doing the same for him when both of them were on the Miami Heat. A career reference is also made when LeBron first appears in the Tune world of Bugs, as he hits the ground so hard there was a crack on the ground, resembling the NIKE logo.
