Irving "Irv" Blitzer (John Candy) is said to have secured Roger (Paul Coeur) a spot in the 1968 Grenoble Olympics. The 1968 Winter Olympics were held in Grenoble, France. Italy won both gold medals in the bobsleigh in those games.
