Meryl Streep's vocals are partially dubbed by an uncredited Donna Murphy, who had recently played the Witch in the Central Park production, and had also voiced the character in Disney's Rapunzel: L'intreccio della torre (2010). Astute listeners will also hear a snippet of Bernadette Peters singing for Streep in "Last Midnight," apparently done as an Easter egg of sorts, as the segment is threaded into the song directly off the original Broadway cast album.
