The breakfast scene at Tatum's house the morning after Sidney's attack was also slightly longer than what was shown. In the original script, Tatum's mother suggested to the girls that they should stay home from school for the day. Although Tatum blows her off, Sidney tells Tatum's mother that she would prefer to be around other people. Later, after Dewey gets off the phone and tells Sidney that Billy was released, Sidney insists to him that someone called her and that she's not making it up. Sidney then asks him about her father, to which Dewey informs her that they still haven't found him yet.
