To assist stage actors who were unfamiliar with film acting, writer Mike Cartel and producer Gary Troy instructed them on movie acting techniques while rehearsing for their scripts and films from offices at Samuel Goldwyn Studios in 1975. The following year, Cartel taught full drama classes from his home for ingenues, models and his film actors for free.
