Jeremy Irons played the role of reoccurring character Dr. Captain "Cap" Jackson, a self-proclaimed sex addict who changed his habits and later earned the trust and respect of Olivia and Elliot for aiding them in a child molestation/murder case. The character admitted to sleeping with his lesbian daughter's crush, a teenage girl who accompanied them on a summer vacation. Irons also starred in the similar 1990's film Lolita, where he played Humbert, a well-educated man who cannot control his lust for his teenage stepdaughter.
