In Star Wars: Episodio II - L'attacco dei cloni (2002) and Star Wars: Episodio III - La vendetta dei Sith (2005) clone troopers were CGI. No physical clone trooper armour was ever made for the prequel trilogy. But in this series, members of the fan organisation, the 501st Legion played clone troopers in the flashback scenes as well as stormtroopers.
