Milla's daughter Ever was originally only supposed to shoot for two days as the young Alicia, with no dialogue. However she was then asked to stand in for the Red Queen simply as a reference for the visual effects but was so good they decided to use her in the actual film. She ultimately had to learn more dialogue than anyone else in the movie.
