The movie was filmed in two versions, one for an R rating and the other for a PG-13 rating. It was edited to a PG-13 rating for commercial reasons, making it the first film in the series not rated R upon its theatrical release. The DVD contains the theatrical version and the unrated version. The unrated version restores much of the profanity and violence that was cut for the PG-13 version, making the film the equivalent of an R rating.
