After Daraar Arbhaaz Khan was signed for the role of Dev and then replaced by Sunil Shetty. At one time Shilpa Shetty had left the film but she came back. Mahima Chaudhry was a later addition to the film, after she had proven to be a successful heroine with Pardes.
