After Batman of the Future - Il ritorno del Joker (2000) was released, a second direct-to-DVD film was planned, this time involving the return of an elderly Selena Kyle/the Catwoman. While the project never got off the ground, several plot elements of it were recycled in Justice League Unlimited: Epilogue (2005), the final episode that wrapped up "The Cadmus Arc" in Justice League Unlimited (2004).
