The sixth of eight straight westerns starring Julie Adams that were released in 1952 and 1953. The first was Là dove scende il fiume (1952) and the last was Le ali del falco (1953). Her co-stars included some of the biggest names in Hollywood at the time. In addition to Glenn Ford, there was James Stewart (with whom she developed a lifelong friendship), Rock Hudson, Tyrone Power and Van Heflin. Her string of westerns was broken when she added a stylish presence to the 3-D cult classic Il mostro della laguna nera (1954).
