David Naughton remembers being in Germany just outside of Munich with Rick Baker as they were appearing in a publicity junket to do some publicity for the movie and the locals in Germany requested Rick Baker to do a makeup and Baker said he didn't bring any makeup so they said to him that they would go out and shop and find stuff for him and do a makeup for David Naughton for their show that night. And Rick made up half of David Naughton's face in a tear and the other half of his face was left naturally which is how he went out in profile on a live audience with cameras going to Switzerland and Germany and the interviewer interviewed Naughton who was in profile the whole time, at the end of the interview he said to Naughton if he had any 'side effects to the experience of being in this film', and Naughton said "Yeah, I got this toothache' and turned his head to show causing the audience to freak out.
