It is interesting to note that the name of the production company for the show is Bedford Falls, and when its logo plays at the end of the show, the voices of James Stewart & Donna Reed can be heard singing, "...and dance by the light of the moon" from the song "Buffalo Gal." Bedford Falls is the locale of the movie La vita è meravigliosa (1946) and James Stewart and Donna Reed are its stars and sing the song in the movie. In the penultimate scene of the pilot, Angela's mom has her television on in her bedroom and James Stewart can be seen giving his daughter Zuzu her petals back, a climactic moment in the aforementioned movie.
