This series' take on the DC villain Doomsday is mirrored in Reign's storyline in Supergirl (2015). Both live on Earth as ordinary, benevolent humans until they discover their true evil nature as beings sent to Earth alongside Kal-El and Kara Zor-El to destroy it. Furthermore, Sam Witwer (Davis Bloome/Doomsday) appeared on both shows.
