Of the storylines that featured Barnabas as a vampire, the only two storylines where he did not bite anyone was the 1995 storyline, which lasted two weeks, and the Summer 1970 storyline. In the former, he did kill the sheriff when Barnabas' secret was revealed to him by Dr. Hoffman, under the strong influence of the evil ghost of Gerard Stiles. In the latter, Maggie Evans was bitten again, but this time by another vampire, Roxanne Drew. These two storylines were back-to-back.
