B-4 and Able work for the villains: B-4 works for Praetor Shinzon and Able works for the Simulant Trader. Both B-4 and Able betray the Enterprise and Starbug crew which they are confronted by Data and Kryten (B-4 was used by Shinzon to lure Picard to the desert planet and downloading information on the Enterprise and Able falling on a steering wheel causing SS Centauri to find and attack Starbug) and Data and Able both suffer similar fates and sacrifice their lives to save the lives of the Enterprise and Starbug crew (Data destroys the Scimitar and Able's escape pod crashing when he destroys the SS Centauri.) Sir Patrick Stewart is a huge fan of Red Dwarf (1988).
