The second photo exhibit of Shigeo Gocho is titled (in Japanese) "One who observes and one(s) who is (are) observed," printed on the poster that reflects the faces of Asako and Ryôhei. While this title is almost a paraphrase of that of the first exhibit in Osaka, it also describes exactly what the characters are doing in the sequence.
