Academy Award winner Wendy Hiller was only 62 when she played the elderly Russian aristocrat, Princess Dragomiroff, in Murder on the Orient Express. Her face was skillfully "aged" by the studio's large makeup team, which included Carol Hemming. The amazing results made Miss Hiller almost unrecognizable as the lovely Eliza Doolittle from the 1938 production of Pygmalion. However, Miss Hiller's distinctive cheekbones were still a prominent feature.
