The take-out dinner Lisa heats up and serves to Jeff is Lobster Thermidor with Pommes Frites à la Julienne, a very expensive dish, which most likely came from Musso & Frank Grill, one of Sir Alfred Hitchcock's two favorite restaurants in Hollywood. The dish can be found on their 1954 menu. The other favorite restaurant of Hitchcock's was Chasen's; however, they don't have the dish on their menu from the same period.
