No consideration was given to this movie's 3-D presentation during filming, as the filmmakers did not even find out the movie would be converted until shooting was almost completed. In post-production, Director David Yates consciously chose to make the 3-D conversion "conservative" in terms of depth because he was worried about the conversion becoming distracting and taking the audience out of the story.
