As was the case with another British spy series The Protectors, which was being produced concurrently with this series, a budgetary constraint for both series consisted of thirty-minute episodes shot on the cheaper 16mm film stock rather than the 35mm used for previous ITC shows. This explains the less than pristine quality of both shows on DVD.
