Steve Brodie plays the ne'er-do-well brother of Tim Holt's character, who is falsely accused of murder and defended by his brother Tim. One year earlier Brodie played the villain in another Holt western, Guns of Hate (1948), in which his character was just as selfish and impulsive as his character in this film.
