In the novel, Louis describes Claudia as 5 years old. But Kirsten Dunst, who portrayed the character, was 12 years old at the time of filming, which makes the character physically the same age in the film. In AMC's Interview with the Vampire (2022) show, Claudia is physically 14 years old. Although, Bailey Bass, who portrayed the character in the television adaptation, was 18 years old at the time of filming.
