This show lasted longer than most in its era---and beyond---and yet it revolved around one same formula, which was repeated in nearly every single episode: Endora gets mad at Darrin, puts a spell on him. Larry Tate is bossy, dislikes Darrin's advertising campaign and fires him (or is otherwise ungrateful towards Darrin.). Samantha saves the day, the client says he loves the campaign, Larry says he loved it all along too and was just kidding when he fired Darrin. Add a few variants to that---such as Sam loses her powers or catches a new disease, or Mrs Kravitz finds out Sam is a witch, or relatives/Queen visit and are displeased with a mortal marriage, or Aunt Clara does cute stuff or Tabatha gets into cute mischief---and it's the one formula around which the entire show revolved, week after week.
