In some episodes, Robotnik is seen wearing a red military-style tunic, and in one episode, he is seen wearing goggles, both of which are ironic, considering in the future Sonic games, starting from Sonic Adventure, Robotnik has since adopted a red tunic as part of his outfit, and always has goggles around his head.
