In the exchange between Dr Whitehead, Carol Brady and Roy Martin it is revealed that the boat Roy sabatoged was the Minnow. Dr Whitehead's son, Gilligan, was the first mate and Carol's husband was known as the Professor. That makes the first mate William "Willy" Gilligan Whitehead and Carol's first husband Roy Hinkley, not Martin. When Carol wed Mike Brady she was still married to Roy Hinkley, as it typically takes seven years to pass before the legal action to declare a missing person dead. Only five years had passed as Gilligan's Island debuted in 1964 and The Brady Bunch debuted in 1969. Carol's name prior to marrying Mike was Carol Hinkley and the three girl's names prior to adoption by Mike Brady, if that did happen, were Marcia Hinkley, Jan Hinkley and Cindy Hinkley.
