The characters Joe Haskell and Carolyn Stoddard both survived attacks by both a vampire and a werewolf. Joe, from a vampire attack by Angelique Collins, and then from a werewolf attack by his cousin, Chris Jennings, in werewolf form. Carolyn, from a vampire attack by Barnabas Collins to reverse his aging, and a werewolf attack by Chris in werewolf form. Joe went insane once he saw his cousin, Chris Jennings, turn into a werewolf, while Carolyn reflected a silver bracelet that she was wearing at the werewolf until Barnabas and Julia arrived. Ironically, both Joe and Carolyn were dating each other when the series began.
