There are many clear references to Alice in Wonderland; the main character's name being Alice, the fantasy world which she unwittingly enters into, the prominence of windows/mirrors (Through the Looking Glass), and lastly her neighbour Bunny may be a subtle reference to the iconic White Rabbit.
