Clint Howard appears in this movie as the caterer "Kate" and he previously appeared in another Dr. Seuss inspired filmed Il Grinch (2000), where he played "Whobris" the right hand man and aid to "Mayor Augustus Maywho" of Whoville. Howard's brother, Ron Howard, also directed Il Grinch (2000).
