The first attempted Hollywood follow up to this classic didn't come until 1960 with the Shirley Temple show. She did her own mini-episode version of "Marvelous Land Of Oz" where she played multiple parts, including Ozma and Tip. Clips of the episode can be viewed online on YouTube.
