Despite the overt sexual themes and metaphors present in this series, this is only the second Alien film to contain any actual nudity. The first was in Alien - La clonazione (1997) (Ripley and her failed clones). A sex scene had been scripted for Alien (1979) but was never filmed. If one counts the magazine cut-outs of nude women in a crew member's bunk in Alien (1979), and the poster of a nude woman briefly seen inside a Marine's locker in Aliens - Scontro finale (1986), this would be the fourth film with nudity. It remains, however, the first to feature nudity in a sexual context.
