When Bob Barker was recuperating from heart surgery, at the beginning of the 28th season, without Bob Barker, the show had to cancel some tapings, but the producers, of course, resumed, once he was well enough. He returned on November 19, 1999, which was his 1st post-surgery episode, and the audience wished him really well, prior to his hospitalization.
