In artwork for season two (and in a church mural shown as the camera pans out in the trailer), Daredevil is standing in the center of several people. To his right are people from his life as Matt Murdock, and those he fights to protect including fire fighters, police, his father, Foggy, Karen, et cetera. To his left are people he encounters as Daredevil, including The Kingpin, Owlsley, Wesley, a Hand ninja, thugs, et cetera. (Stick is beneath him, but more to the Matt Murdock side, and other characters from the comics who will likely be revealed this season are present as well.) The entire picture is shadowed by The Punisher's skull symbol, indicating his importance in this season, and also the importance of Foggy, which is represented by the amount of fog behind the characters on both sides of the picture. Matt/Daredevil is at the center, symbolizing the balance he brings to Hell's Kitchen, and also displaying his pivotal role as the scales of justice which he affects as a lawyer and vigilante. The city is shown at the top and is the clearest part of the picture, since it is not clouded by either persona: it's the focus of both Matt and Daredevil. At the "heart" of the city, is the DD flamed symbol from the comics and season one.
