Eiza González, Ana de Armas, Hannah John-Kamen, Nathalie Emmanuel, Alicia Vikander and Ella Balinska screen-tested for Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Zazie Beetz also auditioned for the part, but was turned down due to scheduling conflicts with Atlanta (2016). Beetz previously played Sophie Dumond in Joker (2019).
