The then 54-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger took up a 3 month rigorous training schedule to get back into shape to play The Terminator. He stated in an interview with Flex magazine that he tried to obtain the same body physique he had in Terminator 2 - Il giorno del giudizio (1991).
