The film takes inspiration from several set pieces and story beats from the video games, most notably the cargo plane sequence from Uncharted 3, searching for missing treasure (Uncharted 4), Chloe betraying Nate (Uncharted 2) and Nate's brother Sam not actually being dead (Uncharted 4) to name a few.
