Long before Jane Wyman would work with Eddie Albert on this series, in the recurring role of Carlton Travis, a villain to Wyman's character, they worked together in films: Brother Rat (1938), its spin-off Brother Rat and a Baby (1940) and An Angel from Texas (1940).
