The title character of the film greatly resembles Robotic Operating Buddy from Nintendo (which is short for R.O.B.), essentially this film also released the same year as the Nintendo video game Dairantô Sumasshu Burazâzu ekkusu (2008), which had R.O.B. as a playable character.
