When the Avengers with all the super powered heroes and villains are sent to the Beyonders World , in the comics the line of good vs evil is further blurred by unusual team ups to return to earth as well. The Beyonder took the look of Steve Rogers, he further gave everyone the chance to become "more". Similarly the story parallel the old "Tale of The Monkey Paw" which granted all who wished on it a warped wish with consequence. Spider-Man created his black symbiotic alien look, as that became Venom when all was done back on earth. This is only one of many but the most famous one out of all.
