In the pilot episode, the song "Howlin' For You" by The Black Keys is played. Tricia Helfer who plays Charlotte (Lucifer's mum) starred as the main character in the music video. Although the connection would be unknown to viewers at the time as Helfer does not join the cast until season 2.
