Everyone on the main cast is being tortured according to their fears: Lucifer: feeling unworthy, being looked upon as evil, Chloe: constantly being heartbroken, Maze: feeling lost and unwanted, Dan: struggles with being a good person, Amenadiel: seeking approval from his father, Linda: her torture is more physical since she is emotionally stable (attacked by Charlotte, daughter was kidnapped), and Ella: loses her faith and fears her dark side. All their fears seems to be resolved in season 6.
