Some fans of Il trono di spade (2011) were dismayed that Locke spoils the ending of the series in a mid-credit scene, since they had not seen the final season yet. However, the series' final episode (Il trono di spade: The Iron Throne (2019)) aired over two months before this film was released, by which time such spoilers were widespread.
